1968 Jaguar GS (Grand Saloon), really gorgeous condition, dark blue, all chrome perfect. Mileage: 65,975. Not running, but I was told why. I'll do my best to explain: I purchased it used in May, 2011. It hadn't been used for a few years, so I have never heard it run (although I did see recent photos of it around town, inc. a summer photo at Leg. Bldg.)
To my knowledge, there are three issues: It requires another starter, and I have a reconditioned one, ready to install (I'm told). Secondly, it would need the gas tank(s) drained. Thirdly: It has electric windows, and the drivers is down, so that motor has to be repaired. As well, this may or may not be an issue, but the seats are NOT original. They ARE Jag seats (bucket in front, bench in rear), but from a newer model. I do have the originals: the leather is in quite bad shape and would require professional attention to restore them, however the wood on the rear gleams and is lovely, with the drop-down (like an airline seat) tray.
