Antique botanical (plate) prints by renowned prairie botanical illustrator Norman Criddle (died 1933). Each measures approximately 11.25" x 8 1/2"

These beautiful water coloured plate prints are not reproductions or photocopies. They first appeared in a 1906 book published by the Department of Agriculture, Canada (they are originals removed from the 1923, 2nd edition, of book).

Each would look great matted/framed (a grouping of prints would make a lovely, unique collection). Plate number and both the English and Latin name of each plant is written on print.

Depending on subject matter, each print costs $10, $15 or $20.

Subjects include sweet grass, wild mustard, King Devil, white daisy, russian pigweed, great ragweed, chicory, Canada thistle, and many more (see photos).
