Complete system is in 5-star condition; super clean with no physical damage. Gently used by original owner and well protected in storage the past few years. Photos show actual condition of the unit. Details: ====== SYSTEM: IBM PS/1 Machine Type 2155 Model R50 PROCESSOR: Intel 486XS 25MHz MEMORY: 32MB (2x16MB) upgraded from original 4MB HARD DRIVE: 170MB IDE 3600RPM IBM Model WDA-L160 FLOPPY DRIVES: One 3 ½" and one 5 ¼" Floppy Drive MONITOR: 1993 13" Colour CRT IBM Series # 028-001 MOUSE: IBM Model # M-SAU-IBM6 KEYBOARD 1: 1993 IBM Model # M2 MODEM: GVC Model # FM-9648HR/1 ISA 2400 BPS Software: ======== OPERATING SYSTEM: Microsoft DOS 6.0 GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE: Microsoft Windows v.3.1 PRODUCTIVITY SUITE: Microsoft Works v.2.0a GAMES (for DOS): Hoyle: Book of Games Volume I v.1.000.113 by SIERRA Hoyle: Book of Games Volume III v.1.0 by SIERRA The Microsoft software is pre-installed by IBM with a PS/1 utility which transferred the hard drive contents to 3 ½ " floppy disks with a Recovery boot floppy to restore the system to its' "out of box condition". The SIERRA game software is contained on 5 ¼" floppy disks. Original Documentation: ==================== Getting to Know Your PS/1 Computer Drive and Adapter Card Installation Reference System Board Reference Keyboard Notes: ============== The M2 keyboard is the keyboard that came with this system and has a known and documented issue with the 2 capacitors on the enclosed circuit board. The keyboard eventually stopped working. I disassembled/reassembled the keyboard and had the capacitors replaced at an electronics repair shop in town. Unfortunately this shop did not do a "great" job. The keyboard works but generates a BIOS "keyboard error" on boot up. Tapping the [ Esc ] key clears the error and continues to load the Operating System. The keyboard and lights then work as they should.
