Found this bad boy sitting next to a dumpster a few years back, looking pretty rough.
Took him in, stripped him, sandblasted (@Ez-Blast, RIP) and gave him a fresh custom powdercoat (@Phantom Powdercoating).
Single speed with coaster brake. Crankset changed out to a bottom bracket unit with a 3 piece crank (also salvaged). The chain guard is available, but currently rubs, as I changed the chainring. Current gearing is a bit harder to get going from a stop, but 2 cranks keeps you cruising.
He does tip the scales - I haven't weighed him, but I'm guessing 40lbs+, but he rolls like a dream with a laid back, lazy frame geometry; great for those last few weeks of a hot summer.
