I purchased a used Shopsmith Model V (500) and subsequently upgraded the power head to the newest digital Power Pro Headstock. The upgrade alone would now cost about $3,000.00 plus shipping and taxes. To get more information on the headstock just go to the Shopsmith website to see all the details. This unit can be used as a 10" table saw, horizontal boring machine, wood lathe, 12" disk sander or press drill. Changes from one to the other take about a minute. I built the under cabinet unit that stores all of the tools and accessories etc The unit is shown with the 12 inch disk sander. The blue flexible tube seen at the back is what I added for dust collection by attaching a shop vac. It is a Loc-Line Hose system costing about $100.00 but not included for this reduced price. I also have a sliding table that I built to be used with the table saw setup for repetitive jobs and can sell that for $25,00. Operating Manual is included. I initially listed this for $3,250.00 and this is the second price reduction making it a very special deal for anyone interested. Reason for selling is that we will be downsizing our living arrangements.
