$200 · EARLY'S WITNEY POINT HUDSON BAY STRIPE WOOL BLANKET, made in UK, black label

This Early's Witney Point heavy wool blanket belonged to my parents. It has the Hudson Bay stripes, black, yellow, red and green. It displays 4 black points, relating to weight. The attached label is black in colour with gold-coloured thread and the native American logo that Early's adopted. This blanket was folded and stored in a cupboard in their house for decades, and has some creases. I think that I can recall seeing it in the cupboard in the mid-1960s and I don't remember ever seeing it in use on a bed but it might have been taken out for company on occasion. I really don't know. They might have had it since the 1950s, but I don't know that either. It measures 76 inches x 90 inches - double bed size. I have another very good English wool blanket, and don't need two of them.
