Vintage (1986) transformation doll by Nisbet / Royal Doulton. Originally sold for $250 - $300. A transformation doll is two dolls in one - flip her over and see another doll hidden beneath the gown! Very rare doll, hardly ever comes up for re-sale. Name is 'Cinderella/Cinders'. Limited Edition - this one is #828 of 1500 made worldwide. As 'Cinderella' she wears a satin pink, lace and sequin gown; long sleeved and holding a shoebox in her right hand which has her one glass slipper. When she is flipped over, she is 'Cinder' wearing a brown patch dress, scarf on her head and holding a broom in her right hand... This bone china Nisbet Heirloom Collections Royal Doulton doll is stamped on the back of her neck with the RD logo and has original tag on wrist. Peggy Nisbet only made two of these highly collectible transformation style dolls, with Cinders / Cinderella in 1986, being the first. Cathedral area, no delivery.
