(I like the ladies) The girls at The Pack Project wanted to name me "Lord Benjamin Budge". I know what you are thinking, "A dog with Royal lineage?" Don't let that name scare you, it is just because I look so regal and it's a collection of names I was called on my journey into foster care. But you can call me Bengi, all my friends do. Even though I am a proud, regal dog, with a wise old soul, life has not always been easy for me and I have the scars to prove it, but we can talk about that some other time. What I want to talk about is my life now and I really do feel like royalty! I love being able to relax and not having to worry about food, shelter and feeling safe anymore. I love my people and I love being the center of attention, getting scratches and cuddles anytime I want. I do have a strong personality and like to be the reigning king around other canines. I would probably do best as the only dog in the family, but I do like the ladies. One of my favorite things is going for a ride with my Foster Dad. He is always telling me how good I am and that I am a good travel companion. I do have one request for my next kingdom, it must have cable TV and I particularly like Animal Planet. Who knew there was such an amazing thing called television where you can watch other animals close up, with no work and no danger. Recently I have discovered other things, like toys and I especially like Kongs. I am starting to feel like a young dog again. I am food motivated and easy to train. I know the word "no", sit, shake a paw, down and I will walk on a loose leash. I am looking for someone to be my leader, my king or queen, so I can just be me, your loyal friend.
