I'm a big fun loving guy. I'm told by my foster mom that I'm very smart and pretty well behaved for such a young guy. I love to play and run and be silly, but I try really hard to follow all the rules, like not jumping up on people, or furniture. I sit really well for my supper and to get my leash on for walks. During the day when my family goes to work I hang out in my kennel. I run there as soon as I think it's time for everyone to leave. But sometimes I don't have to go in my kennel, like when my foster mom walks the other dogs I live with. And she says I'm so good even being left out. Sometimes I talk too much she says. If I'm really bored I like to tell mom so. Then I'll try to find a toy or a bone to play with if the other dogs won't play. When I hear her car pull up, or the mailman comes I also need to say something. I'm a bit scared of meeting new people. I bark and growl. But my foster mom has this word "friends" she keeps saying. And if I stop growling and look at her instead I get treats. I guess she doesn't want me to do that, so I'm working on it. Might take some time to trust so many new people. I really do love my family with all my heart once I feel comfortable and safe with them. Mom says I need a patient new family that will continue to teach me about being friends.
