Often called "The Cable of the Pros", virtually every major recording facility is wired with Mogami, which means that just about any music you listen to has passed through Mogami somewhere in the recording chain. These custom made interconnects are perfect for home theatres/studios suffering from wiring & grounding problems. Mogami 2893 should also be used where intense RFI interference is a problem. The cable is popular for use with unbalanced equipment, such as high quality pre-amp, amp inputs and tape decks. I used the Mogami between my pre-amp and amp. My experience with this cable is that it is a neutral, well-balanced sound. Smooth up top, nice extension below with amazing clarity and silent background. 2 of the runs are terminated with WBT-0147 RCA connectors. The 3rd run utilizes a high quality pair of Audison RCA connectors. These cables are in excellent shape. Used only for 2 years in a home theatre set up, Having moved, the new set up does not require 30' runs. Original cost for these 3 custom cables was $589.94.
