Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Steel located in Regina, SK. This position would be responsible for the Steel Sales Team and to establish intimate customer relationships with the goal of achieving and exceeding annual sales and gross margin targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall commercial interface with Brandt customers
Responsible for leadership of the sales process and sales team
Lead overall Business, Sales, Marketing, and Product strategies
Provide all aspects of support to Business Managers in the sales process
Provide guidance to Territory Managers on quotations
Actively engage in and support Territory Managers in writing, negotiating, and closing key contracts
Lead regular sales meetings
Overall responsibility for Price Management including establish pricing process and formulas
Work with Marketing resources to establish sales tools
Work closely with Customer Support to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
Establish sales and gross margin targets.
Represent the company at industry trade shows and conventions
Ensure work area and files remain clean and orderly.
50+% travel is required
The Director of Sales - Steel reports to the Brandt Engineered Products Sales Manager
5+ years Sales Experience in the Pipe or Steel, or related industry
University or college education in Business or Engineering
5+ years management experience
High level computer skills including Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
