My roommate and I are looking to rehome our dog with a big, goofy grin, Jojo. Jojo is a 15lb mix breed. He's primarily black with brown paws, white facial markings, and a white stripe on his butt. We are unsure of his age, but we've had him for 6 years. Jojo is a good boy who is full of energy, full of character and very charming. He is very much a lap dog, sticking by you whether on the couch or walking around the house. He's a big people-pleaser and happy-go-lucky, but a bit clumsy as he trips over himself and on stairs. He's very quiet, but does whine when he wants to let you know he needs something. He has never bitten any one, but he will give you warning nips when you're brushing his coat and hit a knot. Jojo is a shedder, and requires a bath every two weeks, and brushing every week. He also loves pulling apart toys and whipping them around. Jojo does have a couple of health issues. He has epilepsy, seizures happening around every 3-4 months. They're very short, lasting a couple of minutes at most, and Jojo recovers within a few minutes after them, only being a bit dazed and/or wobbly after. His only trigger seems to be him getting too worked up. He is also partially deaf, responding to loud noises (if you clap or snap to get his attention), but can have issues understanding speaking volumes. He also needs to be fixed, as we've never had the money. Jojo is very tolerant of other animals. He gets along with cats and dogs without an issue, and ignores small animals for the most part with some discouraging. He's good with children and adults alike. We're looking for a forever home for Jojo with someone who can take care of his needs and give him consistant training. Due to multiple reasons, we're unable to give him the attention and care he deserves, and hope to find his forever home with someone who can. Jojo's a good boy who's just looking for a loving, forever home. Please consider adopting him!
