Absolutely stunning Antique silver Jupiter JAS-969 in mint condition, perfect as a gift to the advancing student. This limited edition was custom designed to celebrate 30 years of Jupiter market in North American, and it has looks and advanced features to turn heads! This intermediate level saxophone is one of the best saxophones in its category and is quite unique. It abounds with high end special features. Antique silver finish, genuine abalone/pearl key buttons (including G# key), engraved bell, engraved neck joint, High F# stylized key, detachable bow, fitting tweed case (with unopened carrying straps), Jupiter leather reed guard, and the package includes padded strap, cleaning cloth, 3 reeds (#3), cork grease, owner's manual and your choice of brand new Carlton mouthpiece & ligature, or for an extra $100, I can substitute a used sanitized Selmer S-80 C* mouthpiece ($200 value). The 969 series was recently replaced by the JAS-1100 series if you want to search more information on them, but they are essentially the same. Of course, this one has extra features the regular 969 does not have. The sax is 9 years old but there are hardly any signs of use, except what could be silver plating tarnishing in some spots, but that may be the way the antique silver finish looks like, I am not sure (as I am not the original owner). This is a limited edition, so there are not many of these around. All pads and corks are in like new condition, everything works to perfection, it was professionally serviced.
