Reduced price - was $100.00 - now $75. Beautiful vintage hand-made brass rubbing of Sir Roger Trumpington. Measures 15.25" wide x 40" long including frame. Created with metallic gold wax rubbing crayon. Memorial brass of Sir Roger is dated to 1289, Cambridgeshire, England. His is 2nd oldest military memorial in all of England. Rubbing shows figure of Sir Robert in armour with long sword and concave shield. Under rubbing is a label that reads: "Sir Roger de Trumpington - Trumpington, Cambs. 1289". Sir Roger accompanied Prince Edward on the last of the crusades. 3/4" thick frame is brushed gold & glass (note: small hairline crack in glass in bottom right corner). Written in blue pen on back it says: "England / 89 ELY Cathedral". Stamp on back shows it was professionally framed here in Regina. Printed history of Sir Roger is taped to back of frame.
