Looking for full time general grounds maintenance personnel. In the summer the successful candidate would cut and trim lawns on commercial and residential properties as well as perform misc. duties related to maintaining the outside property. Tasks are performed with various small engine equipment (power rake, aerator, riding mower, walk behind mower, trimmer, etc.) and manual tools (rakes, shovels, etc.). Candidate could also be involved in landscape projects such as rock accents, rejuvenation of lawns, laying sod, pruning and planting trees, etc. In the winter the candidate would work with a team to clear snow from properties using driven and manual equipment (skid steers, snow pushers, snow blowers, shovels, etc.). Other misc. tasks during the winter might include roof raking, roadway sanding, snow hauling, ice management, etc. The successful candidate will be physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in both cold and hot temperatures. Preference will be given to candidates with experience driving a truck while towing a 14' trailer, operating a skid steer, and operating various small engine equipment. The candidate must have the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English, posses the concepts of customer service and teamwork, demonstrated initiative, dependability, and general decision making. A valid driver's license with a clean abstract is a requirement of the position. Salary is negotiable and will be based on previous experience.
