ATTENTION COLLECTORS! This is my childhood collection of 9 Vicki Barr books from the 1960s. I have title #s 1, 8 to 14, and 16: #1 Silver Wings for Vicki / #8 Peril Over the Airport / #9 Mystery of the Vanishing Lady / #10 Search for the Missing Twin / #11 Ghost at the Waterfall / #12 Clue of the Gold Coin / #13 Silver Ring Mystery / #14 Clue of the Carved Ruby / #16 Brass Idol Mystery Buyers, please note: #15, Mystery of Flight 908, shown in the first photo, has been sold. #1 and #s 8 to 14 have blue cloth covers and the original dust jackets; #16 is the newer style with blue spine. The DJ on #9 has split half way along the spine. All of these books were purchased new by me in the 1960s. From a smoke-free house, no smells, odours or stains. My name has been stamped in ink inside. Price shown is for the lot of nine books. I will also sell them individually. Contact me for more photos; I could post only eight on this site. Check online sellers for comparable prices: as examples, for #14, The Clue of the Carved Ruby, one seller is asking US$168 for book & shipping, which does not include an additional unspecified amount for import charges, for a book that does not appear to be in as nice condition as mine is. For #9, The Mystery of the Vanishing Lady, another seller is asking US$85 not including import charges, and that book does not look as clean as mine is. For #12, The Clue of the Gold Coin, the seller is asking US$77 not incl. import charges, for what looks like the same edition as mine. There is also a lot of 16 for sale in the USA; the asking price for these books & shipping is US$519, not incl. import charges, for a collection that looks in rough condition, and only 3 of the 16 books come with dust jackets.
