We all admire those dynamic speakers who can keep us engaged while appearing to speak off the cuff and without any references to notes or teleprompters. It's something we as Toastmasters aspire to be. Leanne Woodhouse, who readily admits having speech notes is like a life jacket for her, will share some tips and a technique she learned about to help remember speeches. Leanne has been a member of Toastmasters 2015 and is currently a member of three clubs - Treasure Chest Toastmasters, Pile O Bones Toastmasters and BLT Advanced Toastmasters. She has served on the executive for several years, mostly as Treasurer, but with a small executive team, it has often meant wearing many hats. In her career, she enjoys learning and taking on new challenges, which has led her to work in journalism, tourism, communications, marketing, business development and operations.
