Looking for a reliable, responsible, caring person to provide personal care services to a man who is quadriplegic in his home. He uses a power wheelchair and is dependent on help from others to perform daily personal tasks. We are looking for someone to fill shifts every Thursday and Friday from 9am to 2pm. This home is an excellent, above standard working environment - very clean, very safe with all proper equipment used to meet the highest work standards. This includes a ceiling track for transfers. You are fully covered under workers compensation. The successful candidate must be comfortable with performing these tasks: - bathing, teeth cleaning, shaving, etc. - assist with dressing - basic meal prep (breakfast) and help feeding - tidying up after performing duties - other basic tasks as needed to assure comfort Previous experience as a personal caregiver/aide/attendant is an asset. If you are able to take direction well, respect confidentiality, take pride in your contribution, and are looking for an above average work environment, you may be the person we are looking for. There is little turn over in staff and this position is available to replace someone who is moving. Working schedules are setup on an online calendar, easily accessible. Pay dates are at the end of each month but there is flexibility for midmonth advance is requested).
