Looking for 1-2 people to rent a large enclosed area in my Whitmore Park basement for $1000/month. Furnishings listed at bottom. Available Nov 1, possibly earlier. Whitmore Park is a beautiful, quiet, treed area of the city with excellent access to the University, SIAST, Southland Mall and Ring Road. Close to 700sq ft in total: open concept kitchen & livingroom, 3-piece bathroom and 2 rooms which can be used as bedrooms, office, storage, workout room... your choice! The 2 rooms are quite a good size at 13x11 and 12x8.5 Driveway parking with plug-in for 1-2 vehicles, access to common-area laundry facilities, use of semi-private area of the fenced backyard. Directly on the #7/9 and 22 bus routes on Grant Road. 4 minute drive to the University, easy bike-ride or walk. Appliances include fridge, stove and microwave as well as access to the common washer/dryer. Utilities are included in rent for normal usage (excessive use of water/power/heat would have to be negotiated). Optional Wifi included for normal use (get your own internet connection if it'll be heavily used for Netflix/gaming that would cause slowdown on my account). Bell ExpressVu TV connection negotiable. Telephone not included (I'm assuming you'll have a cellphone). Semi-private entrance. Pets may be considered but must be agreed upon in advance of moving in. Pet fees likely to be included. Absolutely no smoking or drugs anywhere on the property (regardless of legalization). I work a standard 8-5 workday and would want someone relatively quiet during normal sleeping hours. Damage deposit equal to one month's rent that will be returned when you move out if no damage has been done. Damage deposit and references are required for all renters prior to move-in.
