ATTENTION COLLECTORS: I am the original owner of this book, which has the white multi-scene end papers and the new matte yellow cover, both of which were being phased in, at the time that I acquired this, new, sometime between 1962 and 1964. There is some scuffing on the cover and spine, but the endpapers have not split and the binding is still tight, no loose or torn pages. I stamped my name in ink on the title page at the front of the book, put a page # beside the drawing on the frontispiece and the dealer wrote the price in pencil on the flyleaf (see photos). Apart from that, there is no writing, doodling or scribbling inside. I see a small smudge on the blank page opposite the drawing at the front of the book, but there are no other stains in the book. From a smoke-free house; this book has no smells, odours or torn pages. The book says copyright 1962, and the title list on the inside ends at itself - the Dancing Puppet.
