$300 · Small Male Puppy Needs His Forever Home

We have to rehome our family's 11 week old puppy, Gus. Our elderly dog is not accepting him after 3 weeks and we have to put our old guy first. We are asking $300, the price we paid for him. He will come with all his things - food, brush, toys, treats, collar, leash and more. He is a terrier/shihtzu/bichon mix and will be 11 weeks old on Tuesday August 27th. He is about 3-5 lbs and shouldn't get any bigger than 20lbs at most. He has not had any shots. He eats dry food well (IAMS Puppy food) and is about 70% house-trained, more if you can keep a regular routine/schedule. He will go every time he is taken out but hasn't grasped how to ask to go out yet. He does have visible signs when he is wanting to go. He is teething and wants to chew chew chew (he will come with all his toys, blankies and stuffies). He has had his first 'puppy groom' at PetSmart to get him used to regular grooming. Daily brushing is helpful and he will come with his new brush. He is super soft! I have dog allergies but he does not bother me so I believe he is, at least somewhat, hypoallergenic. He is terrier in temperament - high energy! We think he will be best with someone who has the time to tire him out regularly. He is great with kids but he does nip (and those puppy teeth are sharp) so if your kids are too young to kindly deal with that, he may not be the best fit. Older kids who can run, play and walk him would be great. I think he would do best being the only dog or at least with one similar in age. He loves cats too but again, wants to jump and nip them. He goes up stairs well but is still working on coming down. He is good with his collar and walks on the leash but needs a bit more work for longer walks. He is very sweet and affectionate and loves to cuddle when he is finally tired out. He loves to lay on feet or at least some body part when he is sleepy. We really want to find a great home for him and are not looking to just get rid of him to the first person who expresses interest.
