$13 · Lot of 39 MATCHBOOKS from SASKATCHEWAN - 1970s and 80s

ATTENTION MATCHBOOK COLLECTORS: I don't smoke, but used to collect matchbooks starting in the 1970s. Thirty-one of these were picked up in Regina and Saskatoon, and the rest are from Nipawin (6) , Naicam (1) and Lac Vert (1). The earliest known ones are from 1971 and the latest ones would probably be from the 1980s. I stopped collecting Saskatchewan matchbooks at about that time. I haven't opened all of them but don't think that any have been used. I love the one from the City of Regina Dept. of Health, with the slogans, " . . . there's no match for good health - quit for good". All of the match tips have been cut off. Very clever!
